About us

At St Margaret’s Hospice, we provide free, compassionate care for anyone facing a life-limiting illness in Somerset. We have two hospice hubs in Taunton and Yeovil, but our care reaches across the county. Every year, we care for over 4,800 people through our Community Nursing Teams, specialist In-Patient Unit, day hospices, 24-hour Advice Line, and many other dedicated services. But we couldn’t do this without our supporters. While around 30% of our funding comes from the NHS, the rest is raised through the kindness and generosity of our amazing community. With their support, we’ve been caring for the people of Somerset for 45 years.
